Activating your free eM Client licence
eM Client is free for all home users to use with a maximum of two email accounts
To register your program and obtain a free licence follow the instructions in the email you received when first installing or click the link below

You will then see the web page as shown below - enter your name, email address, tick the box to agree to terms and then click the green Get Free License button
Your free license code will then be shown on screen and sent to you via email
Open eM Client and click Menu > Help > License and you will see the screen below
Click on Activate, then click Yes to confirm you wish to activate, now enter the license number you received when registering and click Ok
Importing from another email program
eM client allows you to easily import account settings, emails, contacts and calendars from other email programs such as Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Windows Live Mail, Thunderbird or Outlook
To access this feature click Menu > File > Import... from the main window and you will see the dialog box below
Select the program you wish to import from in the list and click Next to be guided through the import
Creating a distribution list
eM Client enables you to create a distribution list, which is basically a list that can contain any number of contacts - and makes emailing large numbers of contacts much quicker and easier. This is very useful if you run a club or have to regularly send a newsletter to a group of contacts on a regular basis
To create a distribution list click Menu > File > New > Distribution List
You will then see the dialog box below
You can then give your list a Name and add contacts to the list by clicking Add Member - you will then be given option to add From Address Book or to add a New Contact Email
To send an email to a distribution list - create the email in the normal way as shown here - and in the To field type the name you chose for the distribution list i.e. Newsletter as per my example
