To change settings for Microsoft Edge click the icon in the top right corner and choose Settings
The settings page is divided in to various sections as shown in the left hand panel, the table below summarizes these sections with useful bits highlighted in bold:-
Profiles

From here you can manage which Microsoft account you wish to use with Microsoft Edge, this allows you to sync favorites, password and browser data across all computers / devices on which you use Microsoft Edge
You can also access any saved passwords, payment details and addresses
You can import data from any other browser e.g. favorites / bookmarks, history, settings etc

Privacy and services
|
In this tab you can Clear Browsing Data as well as changing settings relating to your privacy and how your browsing activity is tracked
|
Appearance
|
In here you can change how Microsoft Edge appears with items such as Themes, which toolbar buttons you wish to show e.g. home button, whether you wish to show the favorites bar, and you can set the font size
|
On startup
|
Control what happens when you open Microsoft Edge, do you wish for certain pages to be opened, or do you want it to continue where you left off and open the last pages you were viewing, or just to open an empty tab
|
New tab page
|
Change what the new tab page looks like, you can switch between Focused (a blank screen containing buttons for recent pages), Inspirational (shows a photo which changes regularly) or Informational (shows news headlines), or you can click Custom to choose your own options
|
Site permissions
|
Set permissions for individual web pages, you can choose if a web page has access to your location information, camera, microphone, and choose if Adobe Flash, JavaScript are enabled, as well as allowing / blocking pop-up messages, ads and much more

Downloads
|
View a list of any files you have recently downloaded using Microsoft Edge
|
Languages
|
Select preferred language and configure spell checker
|
Printers
|
Quick link to manage installed printers
|
System
|
Change proxy settings, choose what happens when Microsoft Edge is closed, and also enable/disable hardware acceleration

Reset Settings
|
Reset all settings back to default values
