To create a new email message click New on the Home tab at the top of the main Outlook screen.
By default the box to compose a new email will appear in the right hand reading pane as shown below.
You can click the "Open in new window" button to open it in a separate window, as shown highlighted below.
Recipient |
Here you enter the email address of the recipient or click the button to choose them from your address book
To display the CC or BCC box click on Cc or Bcc at the right hand end of the To field
The CC box can be used to send a copy to other recipients where all recipients can see who it has been sent too whereas BCC hides additional recipients (which is what you should use if sending to multiple recipients)

Subject |
Here you enter the subject (title) of your email message, it is advisable not to leave this blank as many email systems will treat it as junk mail (spam) |

Click here to attach photos or documents to your email |

Message |
Here you type the main body of your email message |
|
Formatting |
Change font size, style, colour and paragraph settings for your message |
When you have finished composing your message click Send as highlighted in image above
