PC Assist @ Home highly recommends BT for all your phone and broadband requirements
I recommend BT based on personal and customer experiences of other broadband providers - they are definitely the most reliable service and customers report a lot less issues than they do with a lot of other providers - all call centres are UK based
To change from one provider to another
The first thing you need to do is make sure you are out of contract with your current supplier, normally when you initially sign up you agree to a 12 or 18 month contract
If your contract has expired then you can phone your existing provider (numbers below) and explain that you wish to cancel the service, they will then provide you with a MAC (Migration Authority Code) either over the phone or by post - they must by law give you this code within 5 days of you requesting it
You can now order BT Broadband using the link above - they will ask for the MAC code during the order process (or in some cases will call/email you and ask for it once the order has been processed)
