Microsoft Office Backstage view replaces the traditional File menu to give you a centralized space for all of your file management tasks, such as the ability to open, create, save, share, print, and export your documents, as well as giving you access to program options and account settings

 

To open click on File in the top left hand corner (as circled in red below)
