Windows 8 has been redesigned so it works just as well on a tablet device as it does on a normal computer with a keyboard and mouse, the table below summarizes some common tasks and shows you the different ways of doing them depending on whether you use a keyboard/mouse or tablet/touch screen gestures

Move mouse to top of screen and mouse pointer will change to a hand, click and hold left mouse button and drag to bottom of the screen |

Accessing settings |
Move mouse pointer to top right or bottom right corner - click Settings and then Change PC settings |
Swipe in from the right of the screen and then tap Settings and then Change PC settings |
